One must know

one must know his roots
to be capable of positioning today.
one must know its course
to prevent for taking the wrong track
one must know the right key
to prevent for singing out of tune
one must know it’s own sins
to be able to repent
one must know where heaven lies
one must know which book to read
one must know how to count
and don't stop at 144000
one must know the only way
the open door
the moving window
the solid rock
