THE MOMENT BEFORE THE FALL

Back to paradise

Walking in the realms of satan
Eve just took a bite
and instantly she saw her youth
fading away
into the darkest night

Lending her ears to this prince of darkness
which buffets her with lies and fury fowl
what he didn’t say is of more importance girl
be aware and realize that he ‘s always on the prowl


So there she stands before the tree
and screams out loud:
“ i don’t believe! there is no god at all!”
I’ll take this fruit
and even taste
before it’s waste
during this coming fall

She must have had a lot of courage
or was she blinded by the serpents lies
to conclude there is no God
and sin against Him who abides

so from that day
an angel guards
the unharmed tree of life
our youth will fade as years go by
no matter how we strive

‘cause what Eve did
cannot be turned
,or by mankind, repaired
as from the moment she had sinned
she started walking backwards
down the stairs.

and when there’s darkness’ all around you
it’s much easier to see the light
but when the Son comes up
His power destroys the night.
