Walking on Water

You see a man walking on water
as you are standing on the beach
as he sets foot upon the waves
he's slowly getting out of reach

he calls some fish up to the surface
his friends are nearby in a boat
they just don't have a clue yet
of how their cups will overflow

you hear this old man called jairus
and how he is howling at the moon
because his so beloved daughter
left this sweet life much to soon

how he kisses those wet feet
as he falls down on his knees
from his lips you here this prayer
please, bring my daughter back to me

the carpenter has gone inside
and is returning with the girl
nobody denies the wonder
of what happend to the child

You see a rabbi on a donkey
hail to the king the people say
but they don't know about the prize
this young rabbi has to pay

within some days they all will nail him
on his head a crown of thorns
bleeding, naked, without water
screaming : "come and see Gods Son."

He calls the dead up to the surface
He was the first to rise again
He is the alfa and omega
And that has crushed the serpents head
